Financial Disclosure Guide

A complete checklist of all Capital, Liabilities, Income & Expenditure required for your Court Order.

To obtain a Consent Order, you must provide a full and frank financial disclosure (Statement of Information D81). Use the checklists below to gather all necessary figures before starting the Fact Finder.

How to calculate "Calendar Monthly"

The court requires monthly figures. Do not simply multiply weekly amounts by 4.

Paid Weekly: Amount x 52 ÷ 12
Paid 4-Weekly: Amount x 13 ÷ 12
Paid Annually: Amount ÷ 12

Part 1: Capital & Assets (What You Own)

Please gather current valuations for all assets. If jointly owned, list the total value.

Property (Box A)

  • Current Market Value
  • Outstanding Mortgage Balance
  • Early Redemption Penalties
  • Est. Costs of Sale (Estate Agent/Legal)
  • Calculate: Net Equity
Note: Include Family Home and any BTL/Holiday properties.

Bank Accounts (Box B)

  • Current Account Balances
  • Savings Accounts
  • ISAs / PEPs
  • Stocks & Shares
  • Premium Bonds
  • Crypto Currency
CRITICAL

Pensions (Box F)

  • Workplace Pensions
  • Private Personal Pensions
  • SIPPs
Important: You MUST obtain the CETV (Cash Equivalent Transfer Value). Do not use the "fund value" or annual projection.

Part 2: Liabilities (What You Owe)

Debts (Box D)

List the total outstanding balance (not monthly payment) for:

  • Credit Cards
  • Store Cards
  • Personal Loans
  • Overdrafts
  • Family Debts (if documented)
Do NOT include here:
  • Mortgage (This goes in Property section)
  • Car Finance (This is usually an expenditure unless it's a personal loan)

Part 3: Monthly Income

Please record the NET monthly average (money that actually hits your bank account).

  • Self-Employed Profits
  • Bonuses / Overtime
  • Statutory Sick Pay

Benefits

  • Child Benefit
  • Universal Credit
